New Layouts- Relaxing 3 days

Teagan and Lilly at Myrtle Waves 2007

We had a blast at Carolina Beach. We played in the waves, played old timey ski ball, (and won 3 Chinese handcuffs , 2 pieces of gum and a tootsie roll), ate hot home made donuts from Britt's on the boardwalk and even got squiggled. It was a fun filled 3 days but the best part was staying up until 4 am every night scrapbooking. I was afraid that my Aunt would get a little upset, because it looked like Michael's' threw up in her dining room, but she was easy going and loved every minute of it. I can defiantly say that when I retire (13 years and counting), that Carolina Beach is the place that I want to retire too, easy laid back and quiet. Quite a change from Myrtle Beach!

Here are the layouts that I made, I know I should have gotten a lot more done, but what can I say I am anal and slooooowwwww!

Love to all,

Dawn :)

Off to relax

Hi guys,
I am leaving in the am for Wilmington, NC. I am headed out to scrap, shop, lay on the beach and hopefully relax before heading back to work next week. Can you believe it, it's almost time for school to start back, YUCK! I will have new stuff to post when I return.
Thanks for stopping by. Leave me a comment, when you check out my blog. I would love to know who is out there.

New Stamp Shelf!

I went to AC Moore today and they have totally revamped the scrapbooking/rubberstamping dept. They did away with the large green wooden shelves that housed the rubber stamps and replaced them with acrylic, I asked the manager what he did with the cabinets, and he sold me one!!!! Yeah! So for $20 a little goo-gone and elbow grease I am now the proud owner of a stamp shelf! All of the AC Moore's are redoing their shelves, ask if they are selling them. I know the one here in MB did and the one in Savannah changed to acrylic.

Have a great day!

4th of July- My Very First Digital Page!!

Digital Page
12x12 paper page

OK, I did it, I actually did a digital page. And you know what it kind of looks good. I printed the page and then added a few embellishments, (you know me I got to add something ). Anyway, I am adding a digital 8 1/2 by 11 page and of course a regular 12x12 page. These are both of Teagan and her "boyfriends" playing at Market Common after our movie last week. Enjoy ! Dawn :)

Girlfriends Altered Tag

Hi Everyone, I hope everyone had a great 4th of July. We just played it quite and stayed close to home. I am adding a new tag that I made using Claudine Hellmuth's torn paper background. I am including the link to her website, she has a video clip of the directions for the background. It was really fun to do using a tag, glue, copy paper, masking tape and inks. Good luck and happy crafting! Hugs to all, Dawn :)

Pages from the Heart

Hi everyone,

I am submitting my work to a design company. I had to send photos of my layouts, I had some trouble photographing the 12x12 layouts. Next time I am going to have to take them to Kinko's to be scanned, I guess. If anyone has any good suggestions for submitting pictures of 12x12 layouts, please share! Hope you enjoy the pages, as much as I enjoyed creating them.

Dawn :)
